Frequently Asked Questions
  • What is your cancellation policy?
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit their $100 deposit. Arrivals more than 20 minutes late may result in a rescheduled appointment. Clients with 2 or more no-shows may be required to prepay in full or may be refused future bookings.
  • How does the deposit work?
A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve an appointment. This amount will go towards the total amount of your tattoo. If you no-show or cancel/reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, the deposit will not be refunded.
  • What sanitation precautions do you take?
I use an EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectant on surfaces and tools before and after each client. All needles, cartridges, and ink caps are brand new and single-use.
  • What qualifications do you have?
I currently hold a Body Artist Certification from the Georgia Department of Health, as well as Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and first aid.
  • How do I prep for my appointment?
If you take any prescriptions affecting your skin, please discuss with your doctor at least a month in advance. Avoid excess sun exposure a week before your appointment, as I cannot tattoo sunburnt skin.

I recommend focusing on good nutrition, proper sleep, and moisturizing the skin the night before your appointment.

Please avoid excess heat/sweating, alcohol, or exercise the day of as this can cause issues during your tattoo. Make sure you eat a good meal beforehand, bring snacks/water, cozy clothing, and your ID.

For longer sessions, you may consider bringing headphones or a book.
  • What should I do for aftercare?
Aftercare instructions can vary depending on the tattoo, but here are some general guidelines:

-No soaking/submerging or pools/baths, and no excess sun exposure for 2 weeks after
-Wash hands with antibacterial soap before cleaning your tattoo
-Wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap (ideally clear and unscented) and pat dry only with paper towels.
-After drying your clean tattoo, only use A&D ointment or Aquaphor. Please DO NOT use Neosporin/Vaseline etc as these are too thick and occlusive and not breathable enough for a tattoo to heal properly.
-Do not pick at/itch your tattoo.
-after 2 weeks or after scabs have fallen off, you may switch to unscented lotion to moisturize, and use sunscreen if skin will be exposed.
  • What about minors?
